Repayment Terms:
- No repayment required.
Eligible Expenses:
- Development and promotion of a cultural experience.
- Marketing and promotional materials (e.g., posters, brochures, ads, web pages).
- Planning, organizing, and promoting festivals and cultural activities.
Ineligible Expenses:
- General operational costs not related to the specific project.
- Activities or expenses not directly reinforcing PEI’s Francophonie.
Fees:
- No fees associated with the program.
Qualifications
- Must have a non-profit registration number.
- Must have a recognized executive committee.
Must have $2 million liability insurance coverage.
Disqualifications:
- New project submissions from an applicant in default on any reporting, project completion, or financial obligation to Innovation PEI will not be reviewed until a resolution to the default is reached.
Description
This program offers your business financial assistance to develop or promote unique cultural experiences. You can receive up to 60% of your project costs covered. This means if your project costs $10,000, the program can provide up to $6,000.
Funds can be used for:
- Creating promotional materials like posters, brochures, and ads.
- Developing and organizing festivals or cultural activities.
Once your project is approved and you submit the required documents, 80% of the funds will be issued upfront. The remaining 20% will be released after you submit the final report and invoices.

Program Steps
Gather Required Documentation:
- Non-profit registration number
- Recognized executive committee details

- Detailed project budget using the provided spreadsheet
Prepare Your Application:
- Ensure your project has a strong Francophone component
- Confirm the project can be completed between April 1st and March 31st
- Make sure the project contributes to reinforcing and promoting PEI’s Francophonie
Complete the Online Application:
- Click the “Apply Now” button on the program page
- Fill out the required fields in the application form
- Upload all necessary documents
Submit Your Application:
- Review all information for accuracy
- Submit the application before the deadline (March 11th, 2024 at 4pm)
Await Approval:
- Once submitted, wait for the approval process
- Be prepared to provide any additional information if requested
Sign the Funding Agreement:
- If approved, sign the funding agreement
- Submit any additional required supporting documents
Receive Initial Funds:
- Upon approval and signing, 80% of the funds will be issued
Implement Your Project:

- Ensure all promotional materials include the Innovation PEI logo
Prepare Final Reporting Documents:
