Program Steps
Review the Guidelines: Read the Project Grant Stream Program Guidelines to understand the requirements and ensure your project aligns with the program's objectives.
Create an Online Profile: If you are a new applicant, request access to set up an online profile. Complete the Front Office Registration form and email it to [email protected]. You will receive login credentials to complete your profile.
Prepare Documentation: Gather the necessary documents to support your application. These include:
- Financial statements
- Business plan
- Project description
- Budget breakdown
- Proof of Alberta residency and business registration
- Any additional documents relevant to your project
Complete the Application Package: Log in to the Online Grant Application System using your credentials. Fill out the application form and upload all required documents.
Submit Your Application: Submit your completed application and all supporting documents through the Online Grant Application System by June 1 at 11:59 pm. Note that faxed, emailed, late, or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Await Assessment: Your application will be assessed and scored using the Organizations Project Grant Stream Assessment form. Be prepared to provide additional information if requested.
Receive Notification: You will be notified in writing of the result of your application and funding status after all recommendations have been approved.
Submit a Report: If your application is successful, submit a report through the Online Grant Application System within 60 days after the completion of your project. The report should demonstrate how the funds were spent as described in your application.
Return Unused Funds: Any unused portions of the grant must be returned to the Government of Alberta.
