Eligible Expenses:

- Salaries of employees while they are in training.

Qualifications
- Must be a business operating in British Columbia.
- Must have a Business BCeID account.
- Must apply on their own behalf; third parties cannot apply.
- Participants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada).
- Participants must be unemployed or employed by the applicant employer at the time of application.
- Training must result in increased job security or a better job for a current employee, or a job for an unemployed person.
- Employers must pay for all training costs upfront and submit a reimbursement claim within 30 days after training starts.
Training cannot be longer than 52 weeks in length.
Disqualifications:
- Temporary foreign workers, international students, or other temporary residents are ineligible.
- Training that is part of a diploma or degree program is not funded.

Begin Training: Start the training program once you receive approval. Note that training can begin before approval, but if the application is denied, you will be responsible for all costs.
Submit Reimbursement Claim: After the training starts, submit a reimbursement claim within 30 days. Ensure all costs are paid in full before claiming.
