Program Steps
Schedule Your Energy Audit or Feasibility Study:
Contact an approved Energy Management Service Provider (EMSP) listed on the program's website. The EMSP will perform the audit or study, discuss potential projects with you, prepare a report, and submit an application on your behalf to NB Power.Receive Your Welcome Kit:
After NB Power reviews your application, you will receive a welcome kit via email. This kit includes:- Program Agreement
- Statement of Work form with instructions
- Request for Payment form with instructions
- Direct Deposit Enrolment Form
Submit Program Agreement:
Sign and return the Program Agreement included in the welcome kit to NB Power.Submit Your Statement of Work:
Once you receive the audit report, complete the Statement of Work form and submit it to NB Power.Receive Approval to Start Projects:
NB Power will review your completed Statement of Work and notify you when the projects have been approved. Once you receive the approval letter, you can begin implementing the recommended upgrades.Complete the Upgrades:
Proceed with the energy efficiency upgrades as outlined in the approved Statement of Work.Submit Request for Payment:
After completing the upgrades, submit the Request for Payment form along with copies of invoices, receipts, and other relevant documentation to NB Power.Site Visit:
A member of NB Power's staff may perform a site visit to confirm the installation of the energy efficiency measures.Receive Incentive Payment:
Once NB Power approves your Request for Payment, the incentive for your energy-efficient upgrades will be issued within 60 days.
