Financing Details
Type of Financing:
- Loan: This program offers a loan specifically designed to support your business needs.
Repayment Terms and Interest Rates:
- Repayment Term: The loan must be repaid within a period of up to 10 years.
- Interest Rate: The interest rate is fixed at 5% per annum.
Eligible Expenses:
- Business Plan Development: Costs associated with creating and developing a business plan.
- Technical Assistance: Expenses for business counseling, entrepreneurial training, and business consultant services.
- Workshops and Training: Fees for small business workshops and entrepreneurial training sessions.
Ineligible Expenses:
- Personal Expenses: Funds cannot be used for personal expenses or non-business-related activities.
- Debt Repayment: The loan cannot be used to repay existing debts.
Fees:
- Application Fee: A one-time application fee of $150.
- Service Fee: An annual service fee of 1% of the loan amount.

- Must be an Aboriginal business.
- Business must be located in Alberta.
- Must be involved in business development activities.
- Must be seeking technical assistance, business counseling, or entrepreneurial training.
Business viability will be assessed by the Business Support Officer.
