- Must be serviced by an Alberta electric utility.

- Common spaces and equipment in multi-unit residential buildings
- Farms registered as a business
- Projects must occur at facilities located within Alberta.

Program Steps
Register/Login to the Portal: Begin by registering or logging into the Energy Savings for Business program portal.
Review Program Guidebook: Familiarize yourself with the Program Guidebook to understand the application process and requirements.
Prepare Documentation: Gather the necessary documentation for your application. This includes:
- Financial statements
- Business plans
- Quotes for equipment or services
- Project timelines
- Any other relevant supporting documents
Select Eligible Measures: Identify and select the eligible measures and technologies for your project from the provided list (e.g., HVAC, lighting systems, refrigeration).
Complete Online Application: Fill out the online application form with all required information about your business and the proposed project.
Submit Application: Submit your completed application through the program portal.
Wait for Pre-Approval: Your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified if it is pre-approved. If funding is not immediately available, your application will be added to the wait list.

Request Extension if Needed: If your project requires more time, submit a Change Request to ERA for approval of an extension.
