Use of Funds:
- Funds can be used to offset the tax paid on eligible fuel purchases.
Ineligible Uses:
- Funds cannot be used for any expenses other than the specified eligible fuel purchases.

- There are no fees associated with applying for or receiving this grant.
Qualifications
- Must be a service station or bulk fuel dealer.
- Must be located up to 56 km from the nearest Alberta or Manitoba competition.
- Must purchase eligible fuels which include gasoline, diesel, dyed diesel, and propane.
- Bulk fuel dealers must deliver eligible fuels to customers located in the competition assistance zones.
- Must submit a completed Fuel Competition Assistance Application.
- Must provide fuel purchase invoices.
Bulk fuel dealers must provide the names of their customers and the distance each customer is from their nearest Alberta or Manitoba fuel dealer.
Disqualifications:
- Service stations or bulk fuel dealers located more than 56 km from the nearest Alberta or Manitoba competition.
