Program Steps

  1. Register on the Online Application Portal (OAP):

  2. Attend an Information Session (Optional but Recommended):

    • Register for the Ontario Creates Webinar Session.
    • Complete the online registration form by 5:00 pm ET on the day prior to the webinar.
  3. Prepare Necessary Documentation:

    • Financial Statements:
      • Most recent fiscal year and the previous fiscal year.
    • Business Plan:
      • Company history, team, market position, short/long-term goals, SWOT analysis, risk management plans.
    • Activity Budget Template:
      • Detailed budget for the proposed activities.
    • Applicant Affidavit:
      • Signed affidavit confirming the accuracy of the information provided.
    • Certificate of Insurance:
      • General liability insurance with specific coverage requirements.
    • Market Development Strategy:
      • Strategy outlining national and international activities for company growth.
  4. Compile Additional Information:

    • Corporate Information:
      • Ensure your company’s corporate information is registered with OAP.
    • Measurable Outcomes:
      • Define clear, measurable results that align with the program’s objectives.
