Description

The Graduate to Opportunity (GTO) program offers a great chance for your business to grow and innovate by hiring recent graduates. GTO Grow helps you hire a new graduate for a permanent, full-time position with a salary of at least $37,500 a year. The government will cover 25% of the first year's salary and 12.5% of the second year's salary. This makes it easier to bring fresh talent into your team without a heavy financial burden.

GTO Innovate is designed for hiring recent masters or PhD graduates for innovation-focused roles with a salary of at least $60,000 a year. The program covers 30% of the first year's salary and 15% of the second year's salary. This support allows you to focus on activities like research, product development, and market analysis, enhancing your business's innovation capabilities.

Both programs offer an additional 10% subsidy in the first year if you hire graduates from underrepresented groups, such as Indigenous people, visible minorities, or individuals with disabilities. This not only helps you financially but also promotes diversity and inclusion within your workforce.
