Program Steps
Create an Employer Portal Account: Register for an Employer Portal account on the Government of Canada website. This portal is essential for managing your applications and communications.
Prepare Documentation: Gather the necessary documents to support your application. These typically include:

- Job offer details
- Proof of recruitment efforts
- Labour Market Impact Assessment (if applicable)
Submit a Job Offer: Use the Employer Portal to submit a job offer to the foreign worker you wish to hire. Ensure the job offer meets the program requirements.
Pay the Compliance Fee: Pay the employer compliance fee through the Employer Portal. This fee is required for processing your application.
Provide the Job Offer Number to the Worker: Once the job offer is submitted and the fee is paid, provide the job offer number to the foreign worker. They will need this number to apply for their work permit.
