Financing Details
Wage Subsidy: The program offers a wage subsidy up to $45,000 to cover 100% of the wages for hiring a recent Indigenous post-secondary graduate for a maximum of two years.
Eligible Expenses: The subsidy can be used exclusively towards the wages of the hired intern. This ensures that the funds are directly supporting employment costs for the intern.

Qualifications
Qualifications for Hosting an Intern
- Must be one of the following types of organizations:
- Provincial and Federal government departments and agencies
- Crown Corporations
- Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs)
- Not-for-profit organizations
- Indigenous communities and organizations
- JEDI's industry partners
Disqualifications
- Businesses not falling under the specified categories above are disqualified from hosting an intern.
