Repayment Terms and Interest Rates:

  • Repayment Term: Up to 10 years.
  • Interest Rate: Fixed rate of 3.5% per annum.

    • Businesses that do not need precise reproductions of field-measured forces and displacements.
    • Businesses unable to access Ottawa, Ontario.

Description

This program offers your business a chance to receive up to $1,000,000. You can use up to $500,000 of this amount to buy equipment or improve your rented space.

Eligible purchases include:

  • Commercial kitchen appliances
  • Manufacturing machinery
  • Computers and IT infrastructure
  • Renovating a retail space

For other costs like software or operational expenses, you can get up to $150,000.

The federal government guarantees 85% of the loan, providing you with a significant safety net.

Flexible repayment options are available. You can choose between a variable interest rate, a fixed rate, or a combination of both.

You have up to 15 years to repay the loan, regardless of what you spend it on.

  5. Submit Your Application and Test Plan:

    • Send the completed application form and test plan to the appropriate contact at the National Research Council Canada.

    • Discuss any additional information or modifications needed.
  7. Finalize the Agreement:

    • Once your application is reviewed and approved, finalize the terms of the agreement.
    • Confirm the schedule, costs, and specific details of the testing process.
  8. Begin Testing:

    • Coordinate with the facility to start the testing as per the agreed schedule.
    • Ensure all necessary preparations are made for the testing phase.
  9. Review Results and Implement Solutions:

    • After testing is completed, review the results with the test engineers.
    • Implement the recommended solutions to address the vibration and shock issues identified.
