Financing Details

Eligible Expenses: You can use the grant for the purchase of new automated recovery equipment for consignable containers. This includes costs for each module of modular equipment. However, delivery and reconditioning fees are not covered by the grant.
Non-Eligible Uses: The funds from this grant cannot be used towards delivery charges or the reconditioning of equipment.

Qualifications
- Retailers must be located in Québec, Canada.
- Retailers must manage an average monthly volume of at least 5,000 returnable containers per equipment.
- Retailers must seek to replace existing automated container recovery equipment.
- Retailers must intend to add new automated container recovery equipment to manage larger volumes of returnable containers.
- Retailers must be looking to acquire new automated recovery equipment for consignable containers.
- Retailers must ensure the equipment is connected online at the time of installation.
- Retailers must provide a quote from a supplier detailing the chosen equipment, signed by the retailer.
- Retailers must sign and attach Appendix A: "Pickup Agreement for New Equipment and/or for Off-Store Collection."
- Retailers must sign and attach Appendix B: "Data Sharing Agreement with System Managers for Financed Equipment."
- For off-store equipment installation, retailers must provide proof of the installation address and a photo of the site.
- Retailers must not proceed with any payment or installation before receiving confirmation of the granted amount from FAQDD.
- Retailers must provide proof of payment, a work order from the equipment supplier, proof of removal of old equipment (if replacing a machine over 10 years old), and one or more photos of the complete installation.
- Retailers must submit a void cheque for financial assistance disbursement.
