Advisors can assist you in many ways, such as preparing your business plan for a loan application, helping with legal documents, or answering any questions you have. Meetings are flexible and can be held in-person, over the phone, or virtually via Microsoft TEAMS.

Translator-assisted services are available in several languages, including Bengali, French, German, Hindi, Russian, Ukrainian, and Yoruba. This ensures you get the support you need, in the language you are most comfortable with.

Program Steps

  1. Contact a Business Advisor: Reach out to the Women's Enterprise Centre of Manitoba by calling 204-988-1860 or sending an email. This will help assess your business stage and determine your next steps.

  2. Schedule a Meeting: Arrange a meeting with a Business Advisor. Meetings can be in-person, over the phone, or virtually via Microsoft TEAMS. Translator-assisted services are available in Bengali, French, German, Hindi, Russian, Ukrainian, and Yoruba upon request.

  3. Prepare Documentation: Gather the necessary documents for your application. These may include:

    • Business Plan
    • Financial Statements
    • Legal Documents
    • Details of intended use of funds (e.g., quotes for equipment or renovation costs)
  4. Review and Finalize Application: Work closely with your Business Advisor to review and finalize your application. Ensure all required information and documentation are included.

  5. Submit Application: Submit your completed application as directed by your Business Advisor.
