Qualifications
- Must be a Yukon resident or a registered Yukon non-profit organization.
- Yukon residents must have lived in the Yukon for at least 1 year (365 days) before applying.
- Non-profit organizations must be registered and in good standing with Government of Yukon Corporate Affairs.
- Non-profit organizations must have a mandate to grow the Yukon’s media production industry.
Non-profit organizations must have a record of offering training programs to Yukoners.

- Training typically provided by an employer.
- General training not specific to the development, production, post-production, or marketing of film, television, or digital content (e.g., first-aid training).
- Attending conferences and annual general meetings.

- Your budget for the project, including all sources of funding.
- A 750 to 1,000-word statement describing:
- Why you want to do the training.
- How the training relates to your career plans.
- A Yukon residency declaration.

Wait for Application Review:
- Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. The program is closed for the year once all available funds have been distributed.
Receive Funding Decision:
- If approved, you will receive funding for 75% of your approved cash expenses, up to a maximum of $10,000 for individuals or $25,000 for organizations. Ensure no more than 50% of your total budget is allocated to travel costs.
