- Final submission form by January 31st of the current year.

Program Steps
Read the Program Guide: Review the guidebook for the type of exploration you are doing. There are separate guidebooks for Hardrock and Placer exploration.
Prepare Documentation: Gather the necessary documents for your application. You will need:
- Completed application form
- Project proposal
- Budget estimate
- Any previous exploration reports (if applicable)
Fill Out the Application Form: Complete the application form with accurate and detailed information about your project.
Submit Your Application: Email your completed application form and supporting documents to the Yukon Geological Survey at [email protected] by April 2nd, 2024.

Application Review: The geologists will review your application and assign a score based on the evaluation criteria found in Appendix A of the relevant guidebook.
Receive Notification: You will receive an email by May 15 with the results of your application. If successful, follow the conditions for receiving funding as outlined in the guidebook.
Submit Required Reports: If you receive funding, you must submit:
- Status report by September 30
- Expense claim reports as needed
- Final submission form by January 31
- Final report via the Yukon Geological Survey’s secure FTP site
